PLEASE NOTE:

MATCHES CAN BE PLAYED AT AN APPROPRAITE TIME FOR SCHOOLS.

THEY DO NOT HAVE TO PLAYED IN ROUND ORDER.

MATCHES CAN START IN OCTOBER IF YOU WISH.

MATCHES MUST BE PLAYED BEFORE THE DATE TO SEND RESULTS IN BY

 

*The league will be played at High 5 Netball using the appropriate rotations depending on your squad size (attached).

 

*This will be a mixed netball league so teams can choose to have all girls or both girls and boys in a team.

 

*Matches will be 4 quarters of 6 minutes. Substitutions can be made at the end of each quarter but not during a match.

 

*Failure to fulfil a legal team will result in a 5 point loss.

 

*Failure to play a fixture by the set date will result in a 5 point loss for both teams.

 

*Children should be in year 5/6

 

*Both schools should provide an umpire to cover half of the court.

 

*The first named team is the home team.

 

*Results must be emailed to kerry@passltd.org before the set date on the sheet provided. (attached)

 

Winning teams will be awarded 5 points

Drawing teams 2 points each

Losing teams will not receive any points.

 

RULES

 

*No contact.

*Footwork rules applies.

*Players have 4 seconds to pass the ball.

*Netball baskets must be at the top of the posts.

*Size 4 netball should be used, however size 5 if 4 not available.

*Players must stay in their designated area.

*Rotation will occur at the end of each quarter.

*The away team should bring a change of bibs incase of a clash.

*Defenders cannot mark the shot.
